■私です:”Speaking”と同じ言い回し
Hello, Hamada here.(ハマダです)
Sales, Hamada here.(営業のハマダです)

■そもそも自分の番号だったら
Sales, Hamada speaking.とか。

■他の人の席の電話を自分がとったら、
Mr. Hoshino’s office, Hamada speaking.
officeを使う。前いた会社はlineって使ってた。

■他の人に取り次ぐ場合
I will put you through to Mr.Nagashima.

■ちょっと待ってもらう時
Just a moment, please.
Would you care to hold?
May I put(place) you on hold for a moment?

■用件を聞く時
Could you tell me what’s about?
May I ask you what this is regarding?
What is this call regarding?

■本人が電話中・・・
I’m afraid he can’t come to the phone at the moment.
I’m afraid she’s on the phone right now.
I’m afraid her line is busy.
I’m afraid she’s talking on another line right now.

■本人が不在・・・
I’m afraid she’s not in yet.
I’m afraid she’s out.
She is out of the office. I expect her back after two o’clock.
I’m afraid she’s away on business.

I’m sorry. She’s left for the day.
I’m sorry. She’s taking a day off today.
I’m sorry. She’s on vacation this week.
